ELEKTRYXX is Born in Nashville

ELEKTRYXX was established to publish photographic work in a unique and unusual way. The art of Fumetto or Photo Comics is revived to host a new series with black and white images with a comic book design. All photography is shot on 35 mm film with in-camera special effects to follow an analog approach and produce an original feel to the series. After the film is scanned it only goes through minor adjustments in Lightroom and other software as needed.

The premier issue, The Fighter in The Dream, is now available here and at other retailers. Issue one is composed of three stories. One main anchor story, The Fighter in The Dream, story two is a photo-poetic representation of our transparent feelings called I Can See Your Feelings and the third is a mini and easy-going story such as in I am Visiting Your Town. The second issue release date is April 9th, 2024.

The idea behind the Photo Comics is to become a sidecar to the future exhibits of the photography. Imagine having a show at one gallery that features one story while another gallery features the following story along with its photographs. The path is open and unrestrained.
